For rentals of one week or less, a $500 deposit is required to reserve the house. For rentals of 2 weeks or more, an additional $500 is required. The cleaning fee is $225, and there is a $50 processing fee. Taxes of 10.5% are additional to the rental rate and all fees. The reservation deposit will be applied to the rent and the balance is due 8 weeks in advance of your arrival date.
Holiday up charges are $500 for Sandpiper’s Nest and apply to the following weeks: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
We have a three night minimum between mid September and early March, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, which have weekly minimums.
Between March and Labor Day, we rent only by the week, Saturday-Saturday.
In order to help the cleaners prepare the house for incoming guests, we ask that you put one load of towels and bath mats in each washer. If you have time, put them in the dryer. You do not have to fold anything. Please also put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on, and bag opened food items from the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. Please scrub the grill if you have used it!
We cannot offer refunds once the house is booked unless it becomes uninhabitable, unless the cancellation occurs 60+ days prior to the arrival date, or unless we are able to re-rent for the same time period and price. We encourage all renters to obtain trip cancellation insurance.
Sandpiper's Nest is pet friendly with a non-refundable fee of $225 for the first pet and $125 for an additional pet, plus tax. Pets must be at least 1 year of age, house broken, and well behaved. Owners are required to pick up pet waste and dispose of it properly (bagged and placed in lined trashed bins).
